Amerikanci poštuju Teslu više nego Srbi E-mail

Neki ljudi su rasli uz muzicke, glumacke, politike idole, ali Nikola Loncar, privatni detektiv iz Filadelfije, oduvek se divio naucniku Nikoli Tesli. On je danas predsednik Kluba pronalazaca „Nikola Tesla“, koji okuplja oko 250 clanova, uglavnom Amerikanaca. „Mnogo je više stranaca koji dolaze i kojima nije teško da sede cetiri sata i slušaju o tom geniju, nego što su Srbi za to raspoloženi“, kaže Loncar za „24 sata“.

Some kids grow up with a portrait of the pope on their wall. Others, JFK.
When Nick Lonchar was a kid in Serbia, it was Nikola Tesla.
"He's a Serbian hero - probably our equivalent to Benjamin Franklin," said Lonchar, now a private investigator who lives in Malvern. "His face is on Serbian money."

TESLA COIL
For those of you who are interested in Nikola Tesla and his invention, the TESLA COIL, we made a short documentary of a 1-million volt Tesla coil last month with the inventor and several members of THE TESLA SCIENCE FOUNDATION.  The 19-minute film can be screened at http://www.mecfilms.com/mid/movies/leslie.wmv  The coil is fired about 3/4ths of the way into the film, so if it gets too technical, you can jump to the firing.  This is the largest Tesla Coil in private hands in the U.S.
