Bringing Light to the World: Luna Stage is presenting the premiere of "The Dangers of Electric Lighting," by Montclair playwright Ben Clawson, a revealing new play about Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla, and their battle to control the future of electricity. Montclair theater director James Glossman stars as Edison; Jon Barker, above, portrays Tesla, the young Serbian immigrant who shared Edison’s dream of bringing light to the world. The play runs through Nov. 13. Performances are on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.; and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets range from $20 to $30, and can be purchased by calling 973-395-5551, or by visiting online at www.lunastage.org.
